This year Margie and her girls came to carve pumpkins with us. It was a bit early to be carving them, but the only time we had before Halloween. For most people carving pumpkins five days before Halloween isn't a problem. In Phoenix, Arizona it is! They really only have about a 2 day life span after they have been carved, so by day 4 they were just mush. We had a lot of fun carving them, but unfortunately they didn't not live long enough to enjoy the holiday they were created for.
