When Grandpa Grant and Grammie Bonnie came for a quick visit, we had a birthday celebration for the three boys born in November. Grant turned 10, Hunter 4, and Grandpa a bit older that that.
Lance continues to work for Intel and teaching online courses for the University of Phoenix. He keeps busy with work, church, and being a great Dad. The other day on the way home Hunter said, "I just really want to see my Dad. I want to play rough house with him."
Sarah
Sarah is keeping busy with the kids, church, and pre-school. It is amazing how much busier having a 13 year old in the house keeps you. It is a constant social whirlwind! I have even unofficially adopted 3 of Sam's friends.
Samantha
Samantha is a great big sister and loves to make her siblings happy (sometimes with a bit to much teasing). She also enjoys hanging out with her friends, going shopping, reading, singing, playing the piano, and she is taking sewing classes! She is still dreaming of having a cell phone, maybe someday she will earn it! After a rocky start to Junior High, she finished this last school with great grades and can't wait to be an 8th grader.
Grant
Grant has been working on achieving his Tenderfoot rank in scouts. He likes to ride his bike, roller blade, and play with his friends. He does well school and figuring out how things work. He is very helpful around the house and is one his little brother 'best buddies'. He is anxious to do everything his big sister is and has to be reminded that he is still only 11!
Makayla
Makayla is as sweet as ever. She has such a sweet smile and laugh. When she is happy, she is very, very, happy. But when she is grumpy, steer clear. She was just baptized a few months ago and had her first sleepover birthday party with 11 friends spending the night. She loves to play with Hunter, they are best friends and she does a wonderful job of taking care of him.
Hunter
Hunter enjoyed preschool this past year. He is very, very, very excited to go to kindergarten! He is full of energy and keeps us on our toes.
